Lady Gaga Vanity Fair January 2012

Love her or hate her you can't deny her impact on pop culture.

Lady Gaga covers Vanity Fair January 2012.

Shot by Annie Liebowitz
and styled by the formidable Nicola Formichetti
Lady Gaga looks wild and beautiful,
crazy and iconic
fashion forward
ahead of her time.

Or maybe she defines her time?

Every pictorial leaves me stunned at the beauty
behind the wild outfits
and over the top headpieces.

Gaga is beautiful.
No question.

Marie Claire Turkey December 2011 Liberation And Restraint

I was completely bored
with the whole fetish fashion concept,
and the endless editorial it has been generating.

In fact wasn't planning
on running any more posts on it at all.

But then I saw this one.
And you've just gotta love
anything this makeup-fierce!
fashionising.com awarded this image its fashgasm of the day. Gotta love a good fashgasm...

Frankly I never think of Marie Claire
as being an edgy magazine.

Guess I'll have to start paying attention now.

Nina Reijinders and Victoria Lipatova
by Koray Parlak
for Marie Claire Turkey December 2011.

Makeup Artist Ali Riza Ozdemir
hit this one clear out of the ballpark
with a fabulous fuchsia lip
that both steals the show,
and makes the entire story into its own slice
of crazy-sexy-cool

Tom Ford Spring 2012

God he is fabulous.

Tom Ford is one of the most spectacular designers to ever work in fashion.
His pieces embrace a sense of timeless beauty while at the same time defining the cutting edge of fashion.

His aesthetic for luxe, exclusive, high fashion is supreme.
As is his flare for drama and intrigue.

This past September he held a private show for press and buyers to debut his Tom Ford Spring 2012 collection.
No photographers were allowed, no pictures to be taken with cell phones, no social media whispers permitted.
Finally images are surfacing via Vogue.com.
The collection is fabulous. These are some of my favorites.

Classic Tom Ford sexy.
No one does it like Tom Ford.
